One of the most simple and efficient ways to donate to American Forests is by contributing through Earth Share in your workplace charity campaign. Earth Share manages environmental giving campaigns in workplaces for environmental and conservation charities.
By contributing to American Forests through Earth Share, you may pledge that a small amount of each paycheck be automatically deducted to help grow a healthier world with trees and forests.
In addition, your payroll deduction contribution can count as your membership to American Forests.
Participating Companies
More and more workplaces now allow their employees to contribute to American Forests through Earth Share. Among them: American Express, Harvard University, American Airlines, Sears, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Hewlett Packard, HBO, Aveda, Dell, Tom’s of Maine, Emory University, and many more.
Giving as a Federal Employee
As a member of Earth Share, American Forests participates annually in the largest workplace giving campaign in the nation - the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for employees of the federal government and the U.S. military. If you are a federal government or military employee and would like to give to American Forests through the CFC, please enter CFC code # 10632 on your pledge card during the next fund drive.
Giving Through Your United Way Campaign
Several local United Ways include Earth Share in their list of charities. United Way donors in the areas of Washington, DC; Rhode Island; and San Diego may designate their United Way donations to American Forests through Earth Share.
